Warranty Policies

Warranty Policy & Important Information

At Computronic, we are committed to offering genuine products from leading technology brands. All products purchased through www.computronicuae.com are subject to the applicable warranty terms and conditions of the respective manufacturer or vendor.

Warranty coverage may vary depending on the brand, product category, country of purchase, and specific product model. Customers are advised to review the warranty terms applicable to their product and contact us or the respective brand service centre for further information.

Most branded products are generally covered by a one-year warranty, unless otherwise specified on the purchase invoice or under the applicable manufacturer's warranty terms.

Depending on the brand and product, warranty coverage may be:

  • Local UAE warranty

  • International warranty

  • Customer carry-in warranty to the authorized service centre

  • Other warranty coverage as specified by the respective manufacturer

The exact warranty terms applicable to a product will be determined by the respective brand or vendor.

Please Keep Your Purchase Invoice

Customers are strongly advised to retain a copy of their original purchase invoice throughout the applicable warranty period.

The purchase invoice may be required for:

  • Warranty verification

  • Product identification

  • Warranty service requests

  • Proof of purchase

Items Generally Not Covered Under Warranty

Unless specifically stated on the purchase invoice or covered under the manufacturer's warranty terms, the following items are generally not covered under warranty:

  • Power adapters

  • Other consumable or accessory items

Software

Software products sold by Computronic are non-returnable and non-exchangeable and are generally not covered under warranty.

Hardware Repairs & Service Time

For hardware products that develop a fault during the applicable warranty period, the respective authorized service centre will inspect and diagnose the product.

Where repair is required, the estimated service period may generally be 2–4 weeks, depending on the brand, product, fault, availability of spare parts, and the service centre's procedures.

Repair times may vary. Computronic Trading LLC cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the respective manufacturer, vendor, authorized service provider, or service centre.

Warranty coverage does not generally apply to products affected by:

  • Physical damage

Data Backup Responsibility

Customers are responsible for backing up all personal data, files, software, and other information stored on their device.

The service centre and/or manufacturer is not responsible for any loss, alteration, corruption, or deletion of data during the inspection, repair, replacement, or servicing of a product.

Customers are strongly advised to maintain regular backups and, wherever possible, perform a complete backup of their data before submitting a product for warranty service.

Repair or Replacement of Defective Products

If a product is determined by the respective manufacturer or authorized service provider to have a manufacturing defect covered under the applicable warranty, the product may be:

  • Repaired; or

  • Replaced, where applicable

The decision regarding repair, replacement, parts availability, and the applicable remedy rests solely with the respective manufacturer or authorized service provider, in accordance with the applicable warranty terms.

Customer Carry-In Warranty

Many branded products, including products from brands such as ASUS, Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI, , may be covered by customer carry-in warranty service.

Under such warranty arrangements, the customer is required to take or send the product to the respective brand's authorized service Centre or designated collection point, as applicable.

Warranty service is provided by the respective manufacturer or its authorized service provider in accordance with the applicable brand warranty terms.

How to Claim Warranty Service

Warranty service is provided by the respective manufacturer, vendor, authorized service Centre, or authorized service provider, as applicable.

Step 1 — Contact the Brand Service Centre

Please refer to the relevant brand service Centre contact details and contact the manufacturer or authorized service provider for warranty assistance.

For warranty verification and support, please be prepared to provide:

  • A copy of your purchase invoice

  • Product name and model

  • Serial number, where applicable

  • Details of the issue or fault

The brand's technical support team may first attempt to troubleshoot and resolve the issue remotely by telephone or other available support channels.

If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, the service provider may ask you to submit the product to an authorized service Centre or designated collection point.

Step 2 — Product Inspection & Warranty Assessment

Once the product is received by the authorized service provider, it will be inspected and assessed.

If the fault is determined to be covered under the applicable warranty, the product will generally be repaired at no charge, subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms.

If the service provider determines that the issue or damage is not covered under warranty, you may receive a repair quotation for approval.

Any chargeable repair will only proceed according to the service provider's applicable procedures and, where required, after customer approval.

Step 3 — Completion of Service

Once the repair or service has been completed, the service provider will advise the customer regarding collection or return of the product, subject to the applicable warranty terms and service procedures.

Depending on the brand and service arrangement, the customer may:

  • Collect the product personally from the service Centre;

  • Collect it from a designated service collection point; or

  • Arrange delivery or courier return, where available and applicable.
